Morning All (just)

I've got a BT home hub, which came when I signed up to BT Total Broadband, now the hub is working perfectly (shock!) and my BT vision is being set up (i'm not allowed sky - bloomin conservation areas!)

Anyway, I was just wondering if the USB-A port on the back is USB 1 or USB2.0.

My flatmate, uses windows and would like to attach an external hard disk to the hub.. If its USB1, it seems pointless and in that case I'll recommend a drive with an ethernet connection - but if its 2.0 that may be more useful..

So.. after all that blathering - does anybody know what standard the unit supports.. is it USB1 max or USB2.0?

Cheers,

Tom

I can't answer your question but I have hooked up my 60GB 2.5" external drive to it and I was able to stream videos over the network to my Xbox with XBMC installed. However writing to it seemed really slow considering I was copying files over a 100 Mbit link, I'd probably go for a NAS.

I went for the 500gb mybook with the ethernet port... save faffing around!

Cheers for the info though - I've heard similar things!
