Hi,

About 4-5 months ago we got the BT total broadband package. Previously I used a Modified Voyager 205 Router, which was absolutly solid. It never crashed or went wrong even after a year of 24x7 solid use.

The homehub however keeps crashing randomly, e.g. when multiple requests at the same time. It's designed to be networked and it can't handle 3 PC's with general internet browsing.

It crashes straight away on torrents.

Its basically crap. So why am I still using it? Since the parents want to be able to use the free Hub Phone/VOIP thing as its free calls on weekend and after 6.

Is it possible to use my old router and somehow get the homehub to use the connection from that for the VOIP phone?

Changing ISP isn't possible, family member works in BT and therefore we get this stupidly cheap.

Thanks.

well get hold of an external voice adaptor (used one with my bt talk till I got a hub) there is a voyager router aswell but unsure of the model. The process is simple all you do is add *** number to your new router & use a password. I for one didnt liek *** hub or BT on a whole as they are not *** company they used to be. Someone else maybe able to help wit the info for the router or seperate adaptor... infact they may some at that nasty auction site ;)
