BT Home Hub?

Are these all in one units, so a modem and a wireless router all in one? a freind from work has asked me to sort her network out, and she asked me if it worth her just getting the home hub and using it to broadcast the signal to all the other wireless cards in the house? I'm taking my Linksys router round tomorrow to check all the cards are in order and working..

Any adivice appriciated pweese!

Yep - they are basically ADSL modems, wireless (and wired) routers. Although many people here hate the HomeHub with a strong passion, if she got it free then I guess it wouldn't hurt to use it.

from what i've read people have good reason to. they fall over more than a premiership footballer.

hehe, I had one and it was ok to be fair.

Recently replaced it with a Draytek and noticed a nice difference in speed and stability. And it boots a lot faster also. Homehub used to take 2 mins+ to reboot.
