Hi guys.

I have a BT home hub 3, the built in switch has 1 x gigabit port and 3 x 10/100mb ports.

What is point in having a single gigabit port? Surely you are limited by the other 3 none gigabit ports, so you can never transfer anything over faster than the 10/100mb ports anyway?

Retarded BT!

/Rant over.

I know you can daisy chain a gigabit switch - but having an extra switch is just silly. Having 3 redundant ports on your router seems even more silly!

To be honest it doesn't matter too much I have BT installing infinity 2 on Tuesday and I have a TP-Link Dual Band N600 Concurrent Wireless Router ready for it.

Just still BT - you are noobs.

The HomeHub 3 is also used for FTTP installations (160Mbps or 330Mbps down), which is what the single gigabit port was intended for.
