yes ok the router is pap, the service is pap, but its what ive got whilst i live under my aunts roof in an area where at best you will get 3mbps soley from bt wholesale
anyways, my problem, trying to play DoW
C the network tester comes up NAT Protected on port 6112, i forward this port, same problem, i disable the firewall, same problem (to me this sounds dodgy), DMZ my pc no ports get through at all (uh hang on a sec that cant be right). So does the BT HomeHub actually port forward, does it actually ever disable the firewall and does it actually ever DMZ
if not anyone got any suggestions to ways round this, yes its not entirely a networking issue but seemed to be the best place for it. BTW ive tried hamachi latest version with my friends and lan games just arent visible, this is with the network priority changed, at best one of them will get in but the other wont
if this would be better suited to games mods please feel free to move. before you ask, yes i have tried other suggestions from the interweb to no avail
