Hi chaps,
BT Infinity is advertised as having free wifi access at BTOpenworld hotspots. Great.
But you can only get this if you opt into BT Fon.
I've now set this up on my phone with the app and its driving me up the wall.
Effectively when I get in range of the BT Router, the app auto connects and my phone vibrates. I am then on the BTWifi hotspot even though I want to be on my own home wireless network. I only have internet access and cannot, obviously, access my own network. Annoying.
Whats even more annoying is that as I walk around the house the stupid app makes my phone vibrate constantly as it swaps between BTWifi and my home wireless access. This is annoying.
If I disable BTFon/BTWifi on the router, I lose access to the Wifi hotspots.
If I remove the app and/or forget the BTWifi access point on the phone, I have to go through the faff and hassle of reconnect/reforgetting/playing around with the app every time I actually want to use the BTWifi when out and about.
Is there a way around this?
