Ive currently got a HH3 which has worked well since ive had infinity which is about 5 years now. Its started dropping connection and wifi signal isn't great so thinking of replacing it.

Can anyone recommend me anything decent to replace it with? Am i best to stick to HH with their latest HH5 type B?

The TP-LINK TD-W9980 N600 seems decent but is there anything else out there at similar price range. I need WOL and an all in one router/modem to replace my current separate router/ modem config.

I have no complaints about the Home Hubs but I would never go and buy one at the RRP. I just wouldn't rush to replace a relatively new one (4 if you're on ADSL, 5B if you're on FTTC).

In your situation and for your budget the TP Link seems to be constantly held in high regard around here, I would wait for someone who actually owns one to turn up though.

Phone BT and tell them you want a new one.

Yeah i did try that but they wanted £50 for me to upgrade but would replace my HH3 free of charge. I know i can buy one for £30ish from a well know auction site.

Im thinking now maybe im best to go for something different as the HH5 gets mixed reviews.

Does the HH5 support WOL?
