BT Infinity installation question

Any of you guys with BT installed that could help me with a a few questions.

We live in a standard 3 bedroom Semi house.

We don't have ANY BT sockets in here, only virgin.

If i order BT Infinity, they would obviously have to install a phone line.

My PCs are upstairs in my man cave bedroom which is where i would like the main socket and modem/router to be situated as i like my main PCs to be wired.

Do BT engineers do this or do they want to install downstairs and then wireless connect the PCs?

Depends on the engineer, bribe him with cups of tea etc and he may help you out.

yes they will install your line and run the master socket to the area of your choice.

When you say they will run the master socket, i take it all the wiring is taken around the house on the outside then in through the wall?

I wouldn't want cables run up my stairs etc.

It would be outside,bung the engineer some £££ and im sure he would help you,they are all pretty good and will install the main point where you want it,they might even put some other points in the house if you ask nicely
