Hi Guys,
BT infinity will be available in my area this coming march and I will definitely be getting it, but I just wanted to ask a few questions to anyone who has it already.

I know BT supply you with a home hub but I don't want to use it as I currently use an airport extreme, airport express and time capsule to supply my house with wireless. I also have an HP procurve 1800 24 port gigabit switch for wired connections. Can I go straight from the white infinity box into the my airport extreme?

If the above does work I'm going to need a good firewall and I was thinking of either going down the route of having a small PC running firewall software or just letting the airport extreme handle the firewall.

Wouldn't mind something to mess around with but any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I have Infinity with that switch (HP-1810-24G), and my configuration is..

Openreach modem (LAN 1) -> ASUS RT-N66U (WAN)*
Openreach modem (LAN 2) -> Switch

*The LAN1 port is talking over PPPoA, which is why you need the second connection from LAN2, if you want access to the Openreach modem via wireless or wired.
