My btinternet is running like treacle through toffee. I am supposed to be on 8meg service but it is only running at between 1.1 - 1.5 megs. I know that i am not supposed to get 8meg but its just terrible. It is also not working unless i pick up the phone then it re-connects.

What should i tell bt?

Going to try without a filter now.

So i phoned up and while on the phone it started working. They have put in a call to the engineers to look at the line. I am positive the line is outdated since an engineer said the equipment in the exchange was outdated and could not manage all the new users. The internet will properly switch itself off during the night or something.
