BT Issues - Powerlines at fault?

So essentially, I've made quite a few posts on here regarding BT and issues that I have been having with BT in the NW Area, so here is another (yay).

I've done countless tests on my line, I've used Modem + HH5, HH5 (standalone) and all of the results appear to be the same. I thought this was fixed as the other day I was doing my daily speedtests over on speedtest.net and was receiving 55-60down, which I've not saw on my PC in a rather long time, I usually average about 45/18.

As you can see from below, there is a lot of fluctuation, but here are my most recent speedtest tests:

When the engineer was around here last, he told me that I was getting 72 to the socket, I've not had a chance to take my laptop downstairs and test the router directly (ethernet straight from the router -> laptop) but I have no doubt, it'll give me higher results.

These are the current powerline adapters that I'm using: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-094-TP

I would also like to note that my powerlines do cut out (at least once per day), is this down to interference or is it just down to my adapters just not being up to par so to speak?

Another thing is that I also have a Wi-Fi card installed inside my main computer, link here: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-058-AS

(Asus N53 for reference).

But the only issue is that when I use this Wifi adapter it will never go beyond 35-40/18 and I have no idea why this is, maybe interference yet again.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're running speed tests pick a server and stick to it. Jumping all over the country will give anyone inconsistent results.

You need to test with a wired connection. Without a reliable baseline everything else will be guess work.

I've got those homeplugs and transferring internally I only get equivalent of 30-50mbps so I probably would place the blame on those, but as said at least try it via cable directly to the router...

I say what your router is synced at is what you get, to prove that connect your laptop via a cable to the router and test it at speedtest.net using maidenhead xilo. oh switch off any anti spyware and AV/firewall durung the test.
