Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone may know the answer to this but basically I have been renting a house for the last 2 years and since then I started a business repairing and fixing computers/laptops etc, had a 2nd phone line installed for Internet/Landline Phone specifically for the business.

I will soon be moving out and I would like to keep the landline number as its on all business cards, leaflets etc is there any way of doing this? Like being able to pay to have this number permanently forwarded to my mobile or anything similar, as I don't think I will be moving in the same area so can't just swap it to new house.

Cheers in advance.

Sipgate used to be able to transfer numbers to their network (VOIP) - not sure if they still do though

Yes you can, we do this when relocating companies.

You'll need to phone up whoever you pay for your calls and they will put a divert onto the line, however it is not free and normally paid monthly/per call that is diverted.

Worth mentioning here if you're porting a number....once you hit a cancellation on a phone line you can't port that number or divert that number away. Move the number away fully before you give the deuces to the losing provider.
