Not entirely sure where to post this but I'll stick it here until the dons move it.
Had a BT line fitted in last Feb for adsl when I finally moved off dialup. It was fine until NY 2006. Since then when I make or receive calls, the voice on the other end has a very low volume, even with my phone at max volume, they can hear me fine though.
I thought it was my dated old corded phone, so I bought me a nice new cordless DECT bugger but with the same results. I do have the phone going though a microfilter, but even when I took that out it made no difference.
I'm going to contact BT about this soon, but has anyone had any similar experiences.
