BT mail problem

Got a m8 with BT his email is refusing to login.We have tried resetting password,this seems to go through ok then when retrying to login it fails saying wrong password and/or email address and then says we have tried too many times etc etc
Anyone else having issues?S.Wales area

Desktop client?
Are any of his devices using the old credentials?

Web and thunderbird on his lappy
Also web on my pc at my home all give same errors
Have run anti virus on his lappy and malawarebytes,both show clean no nasties

His lappy is the only device that has the BT email on

If its saying you tried too many times after the first login once password reset then sounds like something is trying to hack the account.

Not a lot we can do on here afraid its a talk with those Indian chappies.
