BT ordered to block pirate links

A High Court judge has ruled that BT must block access to a website which provides links to pirated movies. Newzbin 2 is a members-only site which aggregates a large amount of the illegally copied material found on Usenet discussion forums.

The landmark case is the first time that an ISP has been ordered to block access to such a site. It paves the way for other sites to be blocked as part of a major crackdown on piracy. (BBC online)

Like I said just you watch within the next 12 months some more sites they will want added will be waiting for mr justice Arnold. Im sure someone is giving him a nice backhander. This country's internet freedom just went bye bye.

As said before, people will just make new sites, ways to use proxy to access the sites, encryption methods or simply change ISP's

If they were really going to tackle all of the content sites, they would have done it by now
