well if you're switching over to the post office for your ISP then no. But then again, the Post Office will probably have a fair usage policy in place so you may run into the same problems in the future. There are plenty of other ISP's who offer "unlimited" downloading, and don't traffic shape.

Search this forum, there are a good few topics on unlimited ISPs. as far as I know, Sky, Be, O2 all have very good unlimited packages. You could always go for Virgin if you can get it, but they do Traffic shape at peak times. (usually on 20mb they throttle to 5mb).

Zen will give you unlimited downloads for ~£90 a month. Other than that there are the likes of Sky and Be/O2 if you can get their LLU services.

AFAIK the post office just resells a BT IPStream product... with the EXACT same traffic management - left to BT - and its complete and utter rubbish (BT) any more :( even tho they state 100GB before traffic management it almost always kicks in just over the 30Gig mark - reducing your speeds to 1Mbit max for a large slice of the day, with lots of laggy routing and delayed web page load times.

Also BT throttle video throughput on all packages - not just option 1 as they claim - so during peak times you don't get more than ~800kbit/s on video streams :(

I highly reccomend looking at be, AAISP, idnet or fast.co.uk depending on your requirements.
