BT Speedtest issues

Hi guys,

Speedtest normally works for me. Yet today..

Performance Tester is unable to run the speed test for your telephone number:xxxxxxxxxxx. Please check that it is the correct telephone number for your service. Did you follow all the instructions given on the website, before initiating the speed test

Whats wrong here?
 
They've had some issues with it lately where it was returning speed test results in the 100s of gig/s lol so might be in the middle of fixing it.

I've been experiencing pretty much the same thing - had speeds fluctuating from 4mbps to 86kbps (and yes, I had it break and start reporting lne speeds of zillions of gigabits too ;) )

Word of advice - apparently the speedtester only records the LAST test that you did and doesn't store historical data. Make sure you have a really crappy score before you contact BT ;)

The Performance Tester is currently unable to run a speed test for your broadband connection. Please try again shortly, however if this problem persists, raise the issue with your service provider.

I'm on a BT connection
 
speedtester has never work for me, its very annoying when I want to find out what IP profile I'm on to winge @ Be :(
