I have recently joined EE and have enabled the smart benefit for BT Sports ultimate.
The app works great on my iPhone mini, but the screen is quite small. When I connect to my TV it says casting to big screen is unavailable but can be added for an additional £5 a month. I was not told this when I questioned watching BT sports on my TV when I enquired about joining EE
When I check EE and BT sports info, it says this was introducted on 10/04/22 to counter piracy
How does charging customers an additonal £5 a month counter piracy exactly? Wouldnt I just be able to connect my phone to any screen - be it my personal home, someone elses or a public place and it will cast the content to big screen?
