BT Support reps ..are they real ?

Hi All I am puzzled ...I was on the BT Infinity website chatting online with a support rep and i asked her if the BT Infinity 40meg service would be doubling to 80meg soon ? she said there is no update planned at present .well i know i post a lot of threads but i,m sure i,ve reads loads of people saying there going to upgrade the 40meg to 80meg plus i have searched google and found it on websites whats going on ? as Fox Mulder use to say The Truth is Out There !! :confused:
