I've had BT phone me up and offer me a BT package for everything I get from Sky plus films and ESPN for about £10 cheaper a month. My only concern is that am I correct in thinking that it's all done down the phone line (I haven't got fibre in my area yet) I get 6.5mb at the moment. My worry is that when Becky's watching a on demand film in the front room that my line would be maxed and I would have problems with online games.

What's your thoughts please everyone???

The unlimited package is what i'm on also. But the fair useage policy doens't cut you off it just throttles you back to a crawl.

BT Vision reservers 2 MB when the ondemand service is in use, which should be enough to stream most TV shows as the quality they offer isn't great. When Doing IPlayer or 4OD we end up maxing out the line, which is around 6.5MB also.

If streaming TV i have to stop downloads and gaming or we get screen tears and blockiness. I can't tell you how much i want to get a decent ISP but no cable in area.

Excellent thx callmeBadger that answers my question I think i'll stick with what I've got. BT said I should get 7.5mb but it's not enough of an increase.
