Hi,

I'm looking to move from SKY to BT Infinity but I'm a bit unsure about the BT router wifi quality. I've suffered badly with sky's awful wifi signal as ended up having to purchase powerline adaptors for the pc's. Does anyone know if the BT router is any better as it seems widely know the Sky router is bad?

Thanks

The Home Hub 4 is probably the best ISP-supplied router that you can get. Dual band Wi-Fi, and 802.11ac later this year as well.

That's good to hear. Sky's router is N class but I can't even get a signal in half of my rooms in the house, and no I don't live in a mansion. I didn't want to jump into a 18 month contract if I have to put up with awful wifi again.

It's as dumbed down as the normal Home Hubs are. However, it's very fast, the UI is responsive, the Wi-Fi is excellent even on non-ac clients and from what I can tell it's stable.

Thanks everyone. Think you've convinced me to definitely move over to BT :) been a long hard slog with Sky and will happy to see the end of them

Ended up buying BT Fibre Infinity 2 earlier today as got a great deal on it with cashback and sainsburys vouchers. Thanks to everyone who helped convince me :)
