BT5 released today!

Backtrack five has been released today, has some big improvements from 4. However websites a tad slow due to high demand.

Will have a play with this later in the week, will be using it in my new job quite a bit

How are others running it, off a USB, hard drive install or through a VM? I'll be doing the latter.

Reckon this would run OK on a bog standard Mac as a HDD install?

I ran BT4 under Parallels on a MacBook Pro just fine, only issue was the wireless card but I used a USB wifi dongle for BackTrack anyway so that wasn't a problem for me.

Not sure if BT5 plays any nicer with the Mac wireless cards if you didn't want to use a USB one.

VM this time round, but i do sometimes use it as my primary OS .

Just installed it on my work laptop under VM, fedora linux running virtualbox
