BTCC Brands Hatch

just thought id share some of my photos i took last week at Brands Hatch..

I was using my Dads Nikon Coolpix 4800, which is 4mp, 8.4 optical zoom...since it wasnt my camera i had to learn how to use it, and didnt take many good ones, so out of like 250 pictures (from just sunday!) only about 50 are worth looking at... anyway, a few of my favorites:

yeah i noticed that all the shots have a lot of noise... not sure why?

i dunno if thats the best i can do with a "simple" digital compact camera?

Do you know what your ISO setting was? Looks like it may have been 400 at a guess of things! Some good photo's though, the BMW single seaters are my favourite...the BTCC cars would have looked really good if you could have captured some of the sense of the close racing...as they always appear to be on the TV

Good use of the gear you had though.

they all seem to be ISO-50...

what exactly does ISO mean....im a total newbie... is it sensitivity on the sensor? is a higher ISO better than a lower etc?
