I'm sending a large item via a courrier (a front bumper!) and i need to package it, somehow.

I was thinking of just wrapping it in bubble wrap to protect it (its not fragile or easily breakable).

However, I can't find any shops that sell rolls of it :(
Does anyone know of a place where i can just buy a big roll?

Cheers :D

Rymans or any other stationers should sell different kinds of packaging. I reckon even a post office should do bubble wrap.

Whilst on the subject, does anyone know why bubble wrap is addictive?

"THEY" put psychotropic gas in the bubbles that promtes an endorphin rush, your brain just wants more and more..

at first poping on or two bubbles at a time is enough. Soon though, you'll be popping handfuls at a time, at this point you still have the opertunity to quit - though it won't be easy. There are help-groups availble if you know where to look and you can afford it.

If you get to the point of wringing sheets of the stuff like a wet towel. or laying it on the floor and rolling around on it... it's too late, even the A-Team won't be able to help you.

I will tell you now.
Dont bother.

Get a load of cardboard boxes and make a "Big" box out of them, and put your bumper in that.
It isnt the scratching that will break or damage the bumper, its impacts from other items.
Build a box, fill it with foam chips, sellotape well.

yes, if i wrap it in a few layers of bubble wrap job done.

Making make-shift box will be fairly complex. its a big ol thing! (clio williams front bumper)

its fairly rigid on its own, just want to protect against scratches

but just incase, where can i pick up a whole load of boxes from? :p

used to work in a warehouse where copious amounts of boxes and bubble wrap were available, d'oh!

PO is very expensive for what you get :(

~Wonder what the biggest rol of bubble wrap you can get is :hmm:

2m*500m :p thats how we buy it.

Post perfect (dont think they are a competitor) do 300mm * 5m rolls for about a fiver for 10 i think.

Edit; Perfectpost !! not post perfect.
