Well I put my loop back together in the week with the DTek GPU block in instead and an EK DDC 100 res but since then I can't bleed the loop for the life of me!

I originally had a Swiftech MCRes but got rid of that because of the layout in my case and the DDC res being more conveneint but not I can't get rid of the bubbles in the loop.. Is the DDC 100 res too small for my loop as the bubbles are constantly being drawn back into the pump?

Would it be better to go for the slightly larger 140 res or would that create the same problem?

Any ideas?

Cheers,
Andy

Put some sponge in the res. You will find it very hard to bleed the loop if bubbles are getting drawn back into the loop by the pump.

running the loop for a minute, then off for a minute, etc can help push the air out and also allows it to settle in the res. But sponge in the res is a great solution for long-term bubbles anyway so do that too.

Dont have bubbles in mine but res is filled above line and I fulled it while it was all loose so i could shake and rotate res, pump and rad to get all bubbles out.

I was going to suggest getting a small pin and just popping the bubbles to get rid of them then thought better of it :D
