I was looking around on the desk thread, and someone had an office chair made from a racing bucket seat. it looked really cool, so I've been having a look around but i cant find quite what I want,
I want it in black with no arms, with the hole things around the head rest. I dont really know the anatomy of a bucket seat lol, sooooo anyone know anything about this kind of thing?

Cheers

I've got that car seat chair from argos too.

It's smaller in width than you'd probably imagine it to be and the leather isn't super soft - but now that I'm used to it, it's quite comfy, and love the way it reclines at ~35 degree angle :)

It was me that posted in that thread (if it's the desk thread from aggges ago?) and it was from Argos, think I paid about 100 quid about 2 years ago for it.

Been considering getting the Argos one, even more so after the positive reviews in this thread.

Only downside is carrying it back from the shop, might be a bit of a mission. :D

Assemble it in argos, then wheel it home while sitting on it backwards like you would in an office chair race.

That said how are they for long periods, I need a comfy chair. Do they support your back well?

Great idea, I could get to the Royal Mile then just lift my feet up and roll down the hill. :D

Although it's not in stock, and wasn't last time I was in there as well, so I'm not entirely sure whether they bother stocking furniture etc there at all. It is in the centre of Edinburgh near no parking areas after all. :(
