For those that are not aware, this is a motion based steering wheel. No base to clamp to a table/desk or sit on your lap and no foot pedals either. Everything is done with your hands. Found this video on Youtube...

Hmm, pretty cool, not sure I like the lack of pedals or the lack of a kind of mounting method... Seems very wii-esque to me. - More buttons and better, don't get me wrong, but in an odd way I think it would take a lot of the feel away... I mean, It's not like it can put up force feedback...

so it just floats mid air? :(

You hold it up with your hands, it doesn't float :D

However, it looks like it's possible to mount to an existing wheel base if you have one. Here's video of someone that's mounted it on to the base of a G25...

You can see the force feedback coming from the base after he lets go of the wheel later on in in the video.

This image he links to in the description section seems to indicate he's also using the pedals from the G25...

does anyone have any experience of using these types of wheel for long periods?
as much as i like the idea of a wireless wheel i have always thought that holding the damned thing up for long races would get awfully tiring

So I have to hold it up with my hands & don't get any pedals ? What sort of Witchcraft is this ?
