Hi all need some help could someone do a list for a friend please.

He has got Keyboard, mouse, monitor needs the rest.

Thanks

Need an OS?

Code
My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,022.12 (includes shipping: £13.20)

Or use a 6GB GTX1060.

Without OS,

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £993.07 (includes shipping: £13.20)

Ive selected a large SSD instead of a HDD and added a cooler.

This GTX1060 6GB and the RX580 8GB will be great for gaming at 1080P.

You could even spend more for a full lenght card - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/giga...ddr5-pci-express-graphics-card-gx-006-au.html

Or a curve ball,

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,001.07 (includes shipping: £13.20)

A GTX1070 is going to last for a HUGE amount of time if just playing at 1080P, get a new monitor (1440P) and its going to do fine also.

This particular GTX1070 has lower cclocks than normal (due to its size) so maybe a full size version might be worth while? but then a GTX1070Ti isnt much more when you start looking at those.

This CPU is 4cores/8threads like the previous i7 7700K from intel.

Or how about a GTX1070Ti,

Errrr I could but Im not sure you can get as good as the above AM4 susggestions for value for money and longevity of the actual socket.

One example.

I would certainly suggest adding a cooler with any intel basket as the stock intel item is total garbage.

Edit,

This i3 is a "K" cpu so meant for easy overclocking, problem is the boards may not be that good for this and the ones that are obviously cost more.

Amd no.4 is a stonker - just ioscale/in game render 1440p .

Intel no.2 should hit 4.7/8ghz with a good cooler , as mentioned their stock coolers are shocking. Board is same as gigabytes higher ends up to the ultra but lacks all the cool gaming features /sound/Lan and RGB etc .

Either of the 6 above you'll be enjoying !
