Looking for advice on brands that make acceptably OK monitors in the budget range? Mainly looking at a 24" 1080p.

I'm building a PC for my son with parts from my old PCs, the GPU is a 1660ti. Need a monitor (don't have a left over one of those!), but due to the limitations of the system it doesn't have to be bleeding edge and I'm trying to do this on a budget.

Looking at the cheaper end of the market I'm seeing names I don't associate with monitors (when did CoolerMaster start selling screens?). BenQ used to be a decent brand, but I get the feeling they've not what they once were. Are any of them any good? And by "good" I mean "OK for the price"

Much of a muchness if you are shopping at the cheaper end. All of the monitors will basically use the same panel, the only differences might be some small differences in the OSD, and the physical appearance.

E.g. I would expect all of the yellow highlights below to all use the same 100hz VA Panel, and all of the Pink underlines all use the same 100hz IPS panel.

Coolermaster I would probably avoid as they've only recently started selling screens, but all of the others are generally fine
