Budget 1440 monitor

Hi there

I need to upgrade my sons set up, currently gtx 970 and 24" Dell ips monitor.

I want to go to a 2060 and a 27" 1440 monitor. Trouble is im trying to keep the budget on the lower side as I dont want to go with a slower card. Can anybody recommend a monitor between £200 - £250.

He generally plays the following games:
COD
Borderlands 3
fortnite
Minecraft
