What would be the best sub £700 tv around at the minute? I have seen a few offers on the likes of the Philips 6703 or a few LG models however is there much of a difference at this price range? The Ambilight feature seems appealing however I wouldnt like to trade off with having a worse picture.

Any recommendations?

You're pretty-much scraping the bottom of the barrel, and you're worried about picture quality?

Spend more or buy smaller, perhaps?
 
£700 and 65"?

I spent more than that on my 43" 2 years ago.

You need a budget around double that especially since it's all new release models and 2018 models are no longer available.

So you are buying when TVs are at their most expensive.

Best to buy in late December to end of January.
