budget am3 cooler

Arctic Cooling Alpine 64 Pro Rev.2 CPU Cooler (Socket FM1/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/939) [UCACO-A64D2-GBA01]

Would that be better than a phenom ii x 3 stock cooler or anyone advise on a cooler sub £20 please

Its performance , is equivalent to the AMD stock cooler but quieter.

Can you access the back of the motherboard? as a lot of coolers need a backplate installed.

Cheers for that mate , quieter sounds appealing already but if the performance is the same as stock then i will have to have something better so yes if needs must i will take the motherboard out.
