Have never really needed this type of request, but the laptop market seems pretty crazy these days. There are so many products out there, it's hard to sort through.
My sister is looking for a laptop to replace an aging Ivy Bridge HP. The budget was way too low, but I've convinced her to up it to £450...
For me, I'd buy used in this price range but I'm not in UK and I don't want her messing around with used deals, as she's not clued up on computers.
Last gen CPUs or refurbs are definitely where I think she needs to look, but what would you go for here?
14-15" and it's really just for office/Netflix and web browsing.
I'd saw a couple of Huawei laptops on **Competitor**, and know many people using them here, with good results.
It's be better not to buy anything 14nm Intel but there seem to be good deals here too.
