How does this spec look for a BF3 budget build, the price at 625 is my very maximum, i would love some input, especially if i could reduce the price further.

Is the CPU bundle any good? otherwise i was considering the 955 black edition (if i went for that what motherboard would be useful?)

Also is there anything iv missed?

This build was inspired by another thread but iv completely lost it.

Cheers guys

Adding to basket roll on BF3
noo, dont go for an AMD build. intel sandybridge builds are far better for gaming no matter what price you go for

also, i've had a little look around and this turns out to be a pretty damned good deal:

YOUR BASKET
1 x "Primo 6200i" Intel Core i5 2300 2.80GHz DDR3 Sandybridge System £379.98
1 x No Hard Drive Upgrade £0.00
1 x No Graphics Card Upgrade £0.00
1 x System 12 Months Standard Warranty £0.00
1 x No Operating System £0.00
1 x Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6870 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £131.99
1 x Iiyama ProLite E2208HDD 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black £99.98
Total : £632.95 (includes shipping : £17.50).

best comparison i can do between the processors: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/362?vs=363
the i5 wipes the floor with even the highest overclocked phenom II X4

also, the PSU is actually pretty good, which is surprising for a prebuild. the reason i chose a prebuilt PC is that they arent affected by the HDD price increase

*edit*
if you wanted to change the case to the elite 430 (the one in the build you have quoted above) in my suggestion it SHOULD be less than £10 extra if you ask in the customer service section very nicely

c'mon guys, if it is just bf3 he can buy as well an i3 and spend the difference on the GPU (whith HDD prices at this level, I would suggest to buy the cheapest one possible and reinforce it with a large one once the prices stabilize). As long as we talk about noticeable differences, in nearly every game an i3 does the job as good as an i5 or i7 (or as bad, if you plan to spend just 100 quid on the gpu).
