hey guys :)

well, i'm new to this whole, building your own computer thing so if this sucks, then could you please bear with me :p

I am wanting to build a whole system (including montior, keyboard etc..) for about 650 pounds.

I'm also thinking of running another 8800 GT in SLI mode later on when i get the cash, but I cant tell if the motherboard can support more than one so any help there would also be great :)

could this bare with any overclocking? i am very new to all this so any info on overclocking itself would be useful, but i could read elsewhere on the forums for help there.

If any of this sucks or could be improved on then i ask for you're help in doing so, thanks :)

why are you going for a 8800gt when for the same money you can get a 4850 or for a bit more a 4870 which we be much better or even a 260

You will only need a crossfire board if your planning on adding a second card later, but the Intel boards overclock quite well.
The P45 board which PwnDirect recommended is pretty good.

After market cooler I recommend this ONE
PSU this ONE

Edit: The psu you original specified should be ok

Sorry I am getting myself confused .

If you want to run dual ATI 4850 at a later date then you need a crossfire motherboard like the Asus one couple posts up (#13)

If you want to run SLI then ie 2 x GT'S then you will need a Nvidia board like the one you original posted in the link.

The PSU you quoted in your opening post should be fine with the Asus xfire board and should be able to cope with 2 x 4850.

If you want to overclock then I would recommend changing the CPU cooler to the AC7 I linked above. :)
