My girlfriend's been on at me for a few months now to build her a computer. Up until last night, she's been refusing to give me a budget. She hasn't the foggiest on how much these things cost but hinted to me that she wasn't really willing to spend over £500 on the lot.

As i've recently upgraded to 6300, DS3, 1900XT etc. i'm finding this to be quite difficult. She will be using it solely for internet browsing, playing a bit of music, storing photos and photoshop. She'll need no more than 250GB at the very most and we won't be needing an OS. Everything else must be included (monitor, case, keyboard, mouse etc.)

If anyone could give us some advice or spec us up something for around that price, i'd be eternally grateful. Thanks :)

Cheers Steve, that's ideal. Much appreciated. I briefly had a look at a few Dells. Anyone know if they come with any unwanted extras? I thought if i built it i might save some money on the OS.
