Budget case advice <£50

I'm after advice on what case to get for a new build in the future. I cannot/won't spend anything more than £50 on a case as it's not one of my priorities.

It needs to be quiet, cool and preferably have slot loading for DVDRW/hard drive.

Its a ok case, nothing wrong with it, BUT.

Lian Li PC7b+ is just a couple of pounds over your budget, and its the best value for money case you can buy, at any price. In some areas such as build quality it really is in the £100+ case class, cooling is good on it too.

If you can stretch the budget a little bit more its worth it, they also have a higher resale value than the Soprano when you next upgrade. :) (Although the PC7+ could handle any rig on the ATX form factor without trouble, same for the Soprano.)

I'm not sure i like the look of the Lian Li7b. It just looks a little plain for my liking. I also like the fact that the Thermaltake has a side window.

Are there any Coolermaster cases within this price range. My last 2 cases have both been Coolermaster and i've had no problems at all with either of them.

They are much better in person, but I do get what you mean by the looks; although they are undoubtedly the best way to hold your PC.

I would not consider any of the Coolermaster cases, since November their quality control has really gone downhill. :(

Ok, i'll bear that in mind.

If anyone has the Lian Li, i'd be grateful if you could post some pics so i can see what it looks like as part of a setup. You can't always judge a case on the low definition pics on OcUK.

Also, the SilverStone "TEMJIN" J01S (Silver) also interests me. What are they like?
 
antec super lanboy, only £40ish including postage and worth much more anywere else, comes with 2x120mm fans and also has a window. pc7 comes to nearly £70 including postage so this is way over your budget anyway. (oops just noticed it needs to be black.)
 
The Lian Li looks quite nice in this pic posted my Mark A in another thread. Its growing on me! :)
