Hello,

I am looking to just change my old pc case with a budget one. As it is now i have a non name crappy one which i opened the side panel and never close it because the fan was so noisy and took it off completely. Everything is cramped in there and really difficult to work if i need to change something in there. It has the psu on top! haha that old. I would like to go 50 pounds max as this is a pc i will keep for another year and then will go to a new one.

Is this any good?

That Zalman case is ugly :)

Have a look at the Corsair 200r or the Corsair 230T

Haha i think what looks good or ugly is a personal taste as i find the 200r very similar as the one i have which is boring and the 230 looks ugly haha.

To give you an idea my IDEAL case would be the Cosmos II for the space and the looks. I say ideal because i have no interest in forking that much money for an old system which i intent to have as a second spare pc after half a year.

Do you need a second system in half a year? Could you get the case you want to build your new PC in now, move your old components over and then ditch them in favour of nice shiny stuff?

I could do that but knowing me and how lazy i get i wont bother in changing the old components back into an inferior case and give it to my brother while i go for a skylake pc.oh well ill see i might stay with the one i have for now.

The bitfenix shinobi is another I have used a few of - good to build in etc though if you don't like the corsair 200r you probably wont like the shinobi either.

Any of the other Corsair cases (Spec-01, Spec-03, 300r, 330r) tickle your fancy?

Thank you all for your replies, for now i decided to stay where i am. So tempting but will keep it as is, for now. Haswell - e is coming and should keep the money in the pocket, not throw them away in unessessary upgrades, got already a used cpu and a new Samsung evo for this one on the way..

Spend £8 extra and get a Fractal R4 (window-less), brilliant cases, super silent and look great in my opinion, but that's obviously based on your opinion.
