Budget Case

Hi All, I need to decide on a case for my new budget build.

I have been looking at them all but a few come with either a blank firewire socket or blank esata socket which I think looks a bit crap to be honest. So I have came to the decision on possibly one of these 2 or any other you think might suit.

NZXT Beta Evo

Coolermaster 430 Windowed

Preferably would like a case with black insides and ok cable management.

I do like the 430 a lot, but I have ordered the NZXT Beta Evo, Mainly because it seems slightly better for cabling and the hdd orientation is better, Looking at the CM 430 again though I wished I had gone for it :S Also wanted all my products to arrive before the bank holiday weekend

but then again this pc is only for htpc and web browsing so nothing too fancy. I think I will be pre-ordering the windowed side panel for my CM 690 though after seeing the pictures

Cheers For the replies peeps, If I completely dislike the NZXT I will just get a 430 and keep the NZXT for a future build. though the stock is getting low on the 430's!

EDIT: And also I didn't want to stretch my budget any further for an antec because its not for anything special, thats why I have got my CM 690 II

hello i have just bought a Nzxt beta evo and im well happy .
good cable management ,loads of space and it was cheap!

got the case but wished I'd gone for the CM 430 now because it arrived slightly damaged :'( luckily on the side you can't see. next time I will stick with OCUK! although when dpd delivered my CM 690 II Lite it had a knee print in the top or side, but luckily it was fine

Anyway, on topic. the NZXT Beta Evo is a very nice case, cable management is sufficient and has a fair bit of space. It is pretty flimsy though. I will post a few pics when I get 5 mins.

Send it back if damaged, dont accept that.

Send it back!!! Most retailers will arrange to collect from you so no hassle or cost for you.

couldn't be bothered, it was a opened boxed item so was fairly cheap and its not really noticeable to anyone else. I just know it's there. If the case was for anything special I would've sent it back. also wouldv'e took another week to get a different case with all these bank holiday weekends :S

Edit: I've emailed them to see if I can get any compensation or something.
