I'm looking to build a budget gaming PC for a friend in the next few days.

Processor will be an i3 2100 (that he has already purchased), with 4GB Ram, H61 motherboard and £100 graphics card.

I'd really appreciate advice on the best ram, motherboard and graphics card combination to go with the the i3 2100.

We have been looking at getting a GTX550ti, HD5770 or even a HD6850.

I'd really appreciate some advice on what components to purchase to go with this CPU.

My mate has his eye on a Benq G222HDL monitor. Another friend of mine bought one from here earlier this year and it looks fantastic.

Will not be for hardcore gaming, just occasional. WoW mainly.

Advice appreciated.

Thanks.

The H67 motherboard has SATAIII and USB3.0 so if your mate adds a SSD then he wont be limited bythe interface speed of a SATAII port.

The H61/H67 chipset maximum memory speed is 1333MHz, so thats why that RAM kit is in there. You can fit 1600MHz that will just run at the lesser speed.

The 6850 card is so much more capable thana GTX550ti/5770 - http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Powercolor/HD_6850_SCS3_Passive/27.html
