I want to create a budget gaming pc for £500. This is my first build so I am not sure whether the components I chose are correct
. The components im not sure about are the SSD, Motherboard, GPU and the PSU.
Components List:
CPU - Intel i3-2120
GPU - Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 £79.99
or XFX ATI Radeon 6870
RAM - Corsair XMS3 8GB Two Memory Module Kit
MotherBoard - ASRock B75M Intel B75 £52.99
PSU - OCZ CoreXtreme 500w £32.99
Harddrive - Seagate Momentus 5400.6 250 GB Internal hard drive
SSD - OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB 2.5" SATA-II £29.99
Case - OcUK Tsunami Gaming Case £19.99
Monitor - Samsung S19B150N 18.5" Monitor £65.99
Some prices are omitted as they are not from OCuk
Total cost around £428.42 - £448.42 (Depending on the GPU)
Should i get the XFX 6870? Is the PSU good enough? Is the motherboard good enough? Is it worth getting the SSD? Can you suggest any better/cheaper components?
The rest of the money I can spend on peripherals and fans.
