ScreamWorker

I have managed to get most things i need but still unsure on the main makeup of the machine.

Basically needs a CPU, RAM, Mobo and Graphics Card for Under £300

Needs to be a gaming pc on budget and i did consider the g3258 but came up with this :

thoughts please on performance for the cost ? mostly 1080p gaming.

Intel's unlocked chip works well when you clock the absolute nuts out of it. You'd also have the benefit of being on a decent 1150 socket setup to upgrade into. I'd pick an Intel setup right now.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Powercolor Radeon R9 270 TurboDUO 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £109.99
1 x Gigabyte Z97P-D3 Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £65.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan RED 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17100C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLD38G2133HC11ADC01) £65.99
1 x Intel Pentium K Anniversary G3258 Socket LGA1150 Processor - OEM £49.99
1 x Raijintek Themis Direct Contact CPU Cooler £19.99
Total : £321.55 (includes shipping : £8.00).

ok that might sway me then,

i was unsure on how else the little intel would perform..

anyone else's thoughts between the 2 ?

Thanks in advance
