Hi all looking to build a half decent gaming rig mainly for cs:go and a few other games this is what I have so far.

INTEL CORE I5-6600K 3.9GHZ (SKYLAKE) SOCKET LGA1151 PROCESSOR - RETAIL

GIGABYTE Z170-GAMING K3 INTEL Z170 (SOCKET 1151) DDR4 ATX MOTHERBOARD

AVEXIR CORE RED SERIES 8GB (2X4GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C16 2400MHZ DUAL CHANNEL KIT (AVD4UZ124001604G-2CIR

OCUK GEFORCE GTX 1060 DUAL 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-EXPRESS GRAPHICS CARD

SAMSUNG 120GB 750 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6GBPS SOLID STATE DRIVE

I already have this power supply

EVGA 500W 80 PLUS BRONZE POWER SUPPLY (100-B1-0500-K3)

would really appreciate some feedback as I've not built a gaming rig for a long time.

What's the budget? And what's the other games?

Might be able to factor in a 1070 and unless you already have a hdd you will need one, other than that looks good.
 
Looks like a fairly good system, specially if you're playing at 1080p. You don't get a stock cooler with the 6600k so need to add a CPU cooler, though can get decent ones for under £20. the 120gb ssd is fine for a OS drive, but won't really have enough space for much of anything else, will prob want to add an HDD as well
 
Budget is £600. Other games are day z mainly.thanks for replies. I have got spare hdds kicking about. Thanks for the heads up on the cooler I thought the retail ones came with a cooler. Any suggestions on a cooler and what thermal paste to use.
