Im building a multimedia/gaming pc for my girlfriend and its getting hooked up to her hdtv (its 720p I think)

will this card run games decent enough at that?

that card might struggle a little with some games at 720p,
a 6770 or even a older 5770 would do the job very well indeed

yeah looked at that card straight after that 1st one, very tempting

The 6770 is a good budget card for the cash. Handles blu ray 3d, and can play most recent games at decent settings. If the HDTV is running 1366 or 1280 res, the 6770 will perform admirably.
