Budget Graphics card

My friends graphics card has reacently broken on his pc. He wants a new one for around £60.
He was thinking of getting a GT 220 but I though there would be better alternatives. I was thinking mabe a Radeon HD 5570?
I think the screen resolution is around 1024x768

Have fun finding one for 60 pounds.

I would advise a 9800GT. Well in budget and would be find for that res.

The 9800GT suggested before would be worth considering. It is faster than an HD5670 in DX9 and DX10 games AFAIK.

+1 for the 9800GT - for £61 that is the best GPU you can get AFAIK.

If he can afford to spend £70, then the 4850 is faster.

May I ask what PSU is in your friend's computer?
