OK another question, Would it be able to run BC2 at good settings because his GFX card is bottlenecking his system?
With the 5670

BC2 is very CPU dependent. If the processor is up to it, the 5770 will provide good levels of performance at 1360 res.

This review compares the HD 5770, 5670 and other modern cards in BF:BC2. It also gives you an idea how it compares the GT 430.

Due to the huge jump in graphics processing power for the small jump in price - the HD 5770 is the card to go for imho, if he can find the £18 over the budget. Due to the relatively low resolution it should handle modern games rather well (especially coupled with a nice quad core CPU).
