Hi all - I'm buying a hot system but want to base it on a decent processor - so I've blown my wad - but I need to get a gfx card to get it going and then upgrade at some point in the future. (I've just realised the gfx card I've got is 11 years old so not much of an option ... ah the joys of having kids...)
Soooo.... what do people think? I don't really want to buy 2nd hand so what can I get based on what's in stock?
I'm thinking around £150 ish but I don't want it to be too appalling... if it was really worth more I'd probably spring for it. Things which I've come across so far are:
GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER £164
Radeon RX 570 £164.68
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti £129
Radeon RX 5500 XT £190.98 (this seems not fantastic at all)
Any other ideas or thoughts gratefully received.
