16:10 is just not a thing these days... heck OCUK doesn't even stock any from what I can tell. (technically such a monitor does exist online, but being rare it costs 4 figures...)
As for brightness, this AOC miniLED is 27" 16:9 though and should do the job, brightness in nits is up to 1000, i.e. double the laptop and has good HDR for around £230ish.
Was the aspect ratio wider for increased productivity? Have you considered ultrawides?
This Asus barely beats your laptop in brightness, but for just under £300 for an ultrawide VA, it's not too shabby.

If you want brighter, OLEDs can be an option, getting surprisingly affordable now, though might not be to your budget.

Though I guess OLED is less ideal for work due to burn-in. Maybe just stick to the cheaper AOC or Asus Ultrawide? Does most of what you want minus the rare 16:10 aspect ratio.
At my previous workplace, we all had ultrawide 1080p monitors. Felt like having 2 monitors side by side and was very useful. Brand new 1080p ultrawides are increasingly rare though, being replaced by the 1440p ultrawides like I've suggested. Not necessarily a bad thing since it can provide more productivity being at a higher resolution able to display more.
