Hey guys,

I'm looking to build a small, always on media centre pc that I can use to watch HD media on my TV and stream to my Ipad, laptop etc. Not worried about an SSD as I'm planning to leave it on but would like a lot of HDD space 2tb or so would be ideal. This will only be used for watching movies and some light web use, no gaming or anything like that.

My budget for this is around £300-400 at the mo. Can I get what I'm after for this sort of money? I have been reading around the forums here but I'm still a bit unsure of what hardware I actually need to be able to pull this off and have it run smoothly.

Cheers for any help!

Ok guys. This is what I am hoping will work. If someone could confirm this will do what I want it too that would be great! It needs to store and play HD movies via XBMC, streaming to Ipad and laptop would be nice too and a bit of web surfing. nothing much more than that. will this build be able to handle that?
