Hi,

My friend has seen my mediaPC and is interested in one himself. However his budget is £150-200.

He wants it to be able to run XBMC/Kodi and if it can run windows that would be brilliant. Just to play movies and tv shows mainly - no encoding.

Since my machine cost me about £500 Im a bit lost in what to get! I admit my machine is a bit overkill though!

Any help would be appreciated!

Now cherry trial chips are shipping, wonder when pipe will release an updated version.

Andy_mk3 do you use now TV?
If so could you launch IE and go to all movies and see what loading time and scrolling is like. It's the one thing that brings my zotac box to it's knees. It does it, just takes a while.

Thanks guys, Pipo x7 looks good but I cant see if it has USB3 or not?

Hows its sound capabilities - would it be able to take advantage of a soundbar?
